Shell Baby Blanket: This darling baby blanket has been crocheted using a shell stitch pattern and Berroco’s Comfort yarn. This blanket will work up quickly. Bring an assortment of hooks in order to obtain the correct gauge. Past projects that Cheri was the instructor can also be brought in for help.

We will be offering this fun and festive summer top as a special class on April 13 from noon to 3:00 pm. It is knit in Noro's new summer yarn Koromo available in 4 vibrant colors.

The top is done in two halves - right and left, each half started in the center of a circle. Sweater construction is unique and you will be sure to learn many new techniques to add to your knitting repertoire.

Knitting Bootcamp

It's time to get your knitting into shape and shrink that stash.
Join our weekly Knitting Bootcamp at The Continental Stitch!

Beginning March 2nd through March 30th

Saturdays 10:00 am to noon
Sundays noon to 2:00 pm

Choose 4 classes in one month for $50 Please pre-register as class size is limited

Dig through that stash and find the three projects that you are most interested in finishing and bring them to bootcamp. Make sure to bring your patterns and needles that go with your projects.

We will get you back on track and completing those projects in no time at all.
Knitting Boot camp is guaranteed to shrink your stash by 2" in just one month!

P.S. Weather permitting we will knit alfresco out on our lovely patio.

Crochet Scarf: This month’s beginning crochet project is a modified shell stitch using Noro Silk Garden.
Edie Cowl: This month we are working on the Edie Cowl using Plymouth Ampato. Worked from the center out in mirrored halves of shell stitch crochet, this cowl snugs around your neck or slips over your head. This is an advanced beginner project.

Bring an assortment of crochet hooks to obtain the correct gauge. Past projects that Cheri was the instructor can also be brought in for help

January 19th or February 2 1:00-3:00. Needle Felting:  Guest instructor Valerie Birt will be teaching a Beginning Needle Felting Class. In this class you will learn how to make a ladybug with red and black roving. Condense roving, layer roving and sculpt, how to felt 3- dimensional figurines. Class size is limited please pre-register to ensure a spot in this popular class. Bring a bag lunch as we will be taking a lunch break.
